Erin Bros is a professional geoscientist with EGBC and the OGQ (with French fluency). She brings over a decade of experience in geological mapping, project management, and Indigenous relations to her role as regional bedrock mapping geoscientist at the Canada-Nunavut Geoscience Office. Her current research focuses on better understanding stratigraphic and structural relationships of Archean greenstone belts of Baffin Island/Qikiqtaaluk. She is currently completing her MSc on the Mary River Group greenstone belt of northern Baffin Island/Qikiqtaaluk.

Her experience spans a variety of challenging environments, including mountainous and remote northern regions, where she has consistently delivered results in geological mapping and project management. Erin gained valuable experience early in her career participating in regional mapping programs with the YGS, BCGS, CNGO and GSC. Erin has worked in commodities spanning porphyry, epithermal, VMS, orogenic, BIF, skarn, and LCT pegmatite systems. Her mission is to preserve the art of geological mapping and set a high standard of geological knowledge across all scientific research and exploration programs. Erin is deeply committed to integrating Indigenous relations into her work, fostering respectful collaboration, and ensuring sustainable resource exploration.
