Clive Johnson is the Founding Director, President, and Chief Executive Officer of B2Gold Corp., a position he has held since the company’s formation in 2007. With more than four decades of experience in the mining industry, Mr. Johnson has played a central role in building and leading successful international gold companies.

Prior to founding B2Gold, Mr. Johnson was a key figure in Bema Gold Corporation and its predecessor companies, where he helped transform the business from a junior exploration company into a globally recognized gold producer. At B2Gold, he has overseen the company’s growth into a leading intermediate gold producer with multiple operating mines and development projects worldwide.

Throughout his career, Mr. Johnson has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to the mining sector, including receiving the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada’s Viola MacMillan Developer’s Award and being named The Northern Miner’s Person of the Year in 2025.
